'94 ranger going from a 4.0 to a 5.0. whats all needed? i was told its a easy swap but, never looked into it. my brother in law want to swap his.

Is the ranger 2wd or 4x4? Carbed or fuel injection? What year ranger? Advance Adapters carries complete kits for installing a 5.0 into a ranger. Is the 5.0 fuel injected or carbed?

You could fab the mounts up yourself but it's a pain.
Biggest issue is clearance on the firewall and heater box and retrofitting the engine harness. If it's a 4x4 a 3" body lift usually eliminates the clearance issues.
