rainbow speakers

I was getting gas the other day and a guy in a van pulled up and asked if I wanted to buy them. He said the warehouse accidently put too many on the truck, and that he had to head back to the office, so he wanted to get rid of them quick. :dontknow:

hahaha i have met those people acouple times, i love their line. I had one offer to drive me to an ATM because i didn't have any cash on me... so scams are just hilarious.

Oh, no. It was them. It really seemed like a good deal. He seemed like a honest guy just trying to give someone a good deal.:dontknow:
 
no different than someone paying $5K for a supercharger kit.... just a different type of mod. different strokes for different folks!
 
i'd have to say that's a WHOLE lot differet. you can't pick up a supercharger that gives you the same power with slightly less quality for 1/10th the price.

i think you're missing the point. i don't want to come off condescending, so don't take it that way....

but...

people who compete at the national level in car audio comps need that "slightly better" quality much like a guy racing at a national level needs better heads or whatever. you may not notice the sound quality difference, but they do.

another good anology is a good scotch. i wouldn't know the difference between cheap shit and the best out there... but connoisseurs do!
 
i'm with ya on the speakers part. i'll leave it at that. i did the high-end audio shit, but 8,000 for components seems a bit much.

as far as scotch goes...you'd know.:drool2: :alcoholic
