Wow - driver seems pretty lucky to get away with only losing a leg.

Wow, it's impressive that both the driver and passenger survived. Though the driver lost his legs. It's crazy that the barrier went through the car like that.
 
Sometimes I wonder if I were in a situation like that if I would consider myself lucky to be alive. OUCH! Holy shit. You have no legs and damn, that had to hurt, a lot.
 
Did you click the link? I mean, i wouldn't have really noticed it if not for the warning about it, but there is blood all over the driver seat and the guard rail adjacent to it.

From the blood being so high on the seats, it almost looks as if it pulled his legs up and pulled his body down. Kinda like his busted up / chopped up legs were where his head should be and his back was where his butt should be.

Very lucky to say the least!
