Question On C4 Trans

with there being so many variants to the c4 I am looking for a little input on which version would be best for my application.

First of all, I know there are 157T and 164T Flexplates which I know the 164 is more common and I think was the only number used on the 351... Next the Case fill or Pan fill ....

I am building a 351w looking for around 550 to 600 HP.... in a 82 Capri....

Thank You For Any Input

If you need any more info feel free to ask...

primary use of the vehicle? weekend street car for just cruising around and laying whole shots or strictly a trailered bracket car? why limit your choices to a c-4 that will need to be "freshened up" every year or so?

Well it will probably be cruised around a few times a month and maybe taken to the track once a month...

Is there a trans that you would suggest over the C4 ?

pan fill i believe pre 70.case fill post 70 pre 70 24spline input ,post 70 26spline tooth count only applies to bellhousing size small bell 157 large bell 164 (look out for mustang 2 super small bell 140something tooth count AVOID these)550 600hp flywheel will be fine on a car thats fairly light 3400lbs or less with a decent trans .otherwise your will need a 6gear planetary version to live.
