Question about this T-56 (cobra)

The stock 3650, which is ok, but i have 4.30's and i'm going to start doing more autox more than anything so the T-56 kinda appeals to me
 
Ahh, i see, i dunno about welding the case tho, seems kinda hackish in a way. I would like to know more input on this also.
 
PAss on the trans dude. I would bet either the output shaft is broken or bent and or other internal mechanical trouble will ensue shortly.

The housing is cracked and the guy said it could be welded but i'm not sure how i feel about that, and I think i would need a new input shaft for it anyways for the 01 cobra. Not sure if by the time i got this all fixed I would've been better off just getting a new one.

Thanks Sean. Thats pretty much what i was thinking as well, but when i see a low price I always wonder if i could get it to work.
