Are they still open? I called 3 times 3 different days and never got an answer.. inquiring about getting a set of headers coated... or maybe someone could steer me in a direction where they're willing to do business...

prefer local business to avoid shipping costs!

Bill does excellent work, and is a great guy, but he NEVER answers the damn phone. If you can do it, I would just swing by his shop when you have time with a box of parts. That's what I do. haha

Best time to call is at 7AM. The guys come in at 6:45 and usually will answer the phone. Its just so damn loud in there its hard to hear anything. Or you can just bring your stuff there. They did my headers and my intake manifold and I couldn't be happier with the results!

What are you looking to have done?

I have a set of Hooker Super Comps for a 3rd Gen F-body that need to be recoated (Long Tubes) and also a set of shorties with a Y-pipe that are brand new just looking to see what that might cost.

Edit: Thanks guys!! They need a hot chick in an office..

I must be the only guy that's gotten a shit job from them. All I hear are great things(and Bill does seem like a good guy), but they did one of my projects 3 times and still couldn't get it right.

Sorry to hear that. He did my motorcycle frame, which is translucent blue over polished aluminum, and it came out flawless. I thought for sure that the color would be inconsistent, but I was amazed with the results. Did he make things right in the end?

I just got a set of LT's and H-pipe/muffs (inside & out) done for a reasonable price and seemingly very good quality.

Bill always called back within a day or so if I left a message, but I just showed up to drop off the parts. They are def open M-F 7-4pm.

I know, the other work I've seen from them has been great too, I just wasn't happy.

1st time they did it, the coating was chock full of dirt. I actually picked it up, but as soon as I saw it in good light I took it back and talked to Bill. One of his guys had done it, and he said he'd do it himself and get it right. When I came back, they had already done it a third time and basically told me it was as good as it was going to get without drilling holes to hang it at a different angle. The coating didn't flow good, is way too thick in spots, and now has chipped quite a bit. Where they did hang it from gouged the aluminum. It's a podium for my wife's church, and they were happy with it(especially since I didn't charge them anything). I was just frustrated they didn't seem to want to get it perfect after hearing so many great things about them.

QC Coatings is not a sponsor here. C&S Powdercoating is. PM 347convert and/or itsallaboutthet&a re: your powdercoating needs. They have turned out some GREAT work for quite a few MM members.

x2. If I ever need anything coated, they are getting my business.

I've always had good quality work done by QC Coatings. Once I get the rest of my exhaust system done, I'm going to bring it to them to have it ceramic coated inless C&S is able to it?

Hell, LOL, Id say QC too for ceramic, there work always looks good, I havent heard any complains about the ceramic work, and the price doesnt seam to be to out of touch like everyones powder prices.

Thanks for the words fellas.
