any thoughts on how this could be done? what company makes the motor mounts, and all the other necessary things for it to fit?

i and doing a 86 GT with a BBC i'll post some pix tomorrow in the members section, i have done many sbc and bbc in stangs, i use a motor plate, my own custom mid plate and trans mount, i like the motor plate over side mounts because you get more header room.

uhhhh.....why? did you need to weig the front end down or did you get a free motor hahaha.
Ya know..... they have a few aftermarket parts for those Mustangs these days (cough).... Matter of fact, you can even make about mmmmmmm....800 HP in a small block windsor....

Sorry... Good luck
