pushrods

i have a comp xe 284 cam for my 351w and on comps website it has pushrods to go with it should i measure my length or just go with the comp pushrods that are under the cam specs?
 
You should measure 'em. What if the block or heads got decked at some point
or the head gasket is a different thickness than they used for their spec's?
Plus, it gives you a chance to check the rocker and valve tip geometry.
