pump gas numbers....

MPt-70
10 lbs
20 deg locked timing
94 octane
302 stock short block w/ gt40 heads
holley intake

440 hp and 532 ft lbs

Was good for 122mph without powershifting

231ci Buick
all stock longblock/intake/etc.
PTE52 turbo
razor's progressive alky kit
366/434 RWHP/TQ
numbers seemed kinda low at the time as the car has went 121MPH with that combo and a soft launch.

Roughly speaking any engine with a decent cylinder head and compression around 10.0:1 with a proper camshaft will take about 10-12 psi of boost on 93 fuel.

what are you building ?

Lets hear some pump gas numbers from you turbo guys if ya got'em..

list a basic eninge cubic inch and turbo set up

A engine, I was just looking for a comparative..

It's way under 10.0 has a custom cam, and decent heads. The goals 800 + on pump with injection.

And got in a wreck on the way down from Norwalk before he could make a pass with the Vette guys. Then there was the Damn food poisoning incident too. grrrrr hahaha. :D

Rick,

It'll be tight bt you might be able to pull it off. Care to share some engine specs. what gets tough is getting beyond doubling the output of the engine with pump fuel and Meth injection.

skies the limit with alky/methanol injection. 800hp should be no problem with the right size turbo.

A buddy of mine runs an s-trim with 15 lbs with 93 oct and snow kit. Stock shortblock, TFS heads and 600 hp. Drives it everyday to work..make me sick how nice injection is..

Im hoping for around the 1000 hp mark on pump gas.. Only a couple more weeks and the car will be on the road..

And maybe I should note, my pump gas is E85, so raising the boost to 20 pounds is not unheard of..:rockwoot:
