Project 78 Trans Am

Thanks to Ryan (Orangejuiced86) for loaning me an engine puller. The engine is now on the stand and down to just a block, pistons and crank. Everything came apart like a dream. No broken bolts and no surprises. Hear is some pics for your viewing pleasure.

I have been making lots of progress on this project lately.
I got the block cleaned and painted along with the oil pan, valley pan, valve covers and timing chain cover. All in Corporate Blue.

Now i'm working on removing all the undercoating on the firewall and k-frame. Fun stuff.

Got the trans restored:

Been spending a lot of time in the garage because of all the rain we have been getting.

Got the manifolds sand blasted, before and after.

Sub fram should be going out to be blasted soon. That is one job I decided not to tackle myself.

Well it'd been a year now since the call from my dad to come pick up the car. Wish I was a little further along than I am but that's life I guess.

Still can't believe my dad is gone some days.
