has anyone used there water pumps or rocker arms .... im trying to finish my car with out breaking the bank ... there parts are all most 1/2 price .. 200 for a water pump it cheap or is the pump cheap....
thanks mike

I might be willing to try the waterpump, maybe, but never the rockers.
Chinese needle bearings parts have a way of ruining engines.

had them on my motor (302) worked alright but better off going with some cranes cause when mine went it took the motor with it, cant be sure it was the rockers but it bent the pushrods broke all the lifters on the drivers side in half messed up the cam and then the Distributor welded itself in the block you get what you pay for

I'd use some of the proform tools, but thats it. So far everyhting else seems to be junk. The carbs are hit or miss and mostly miss.

I currently have a Proform electric waterpump and hi-torque starter and 140 amp alt on my car. All work fine for me.

I have the water pump (sbf) and the inlet would sit right on top of my balancer, so I had to make a coupler to extend it further out. I also have the carb main body, But I think to tune them you have to buy a kit for the air bleeds.

i'm running proform pedestal mount rockers with no problems, knock on wood. motor's been to 7 grand a couple times and hasn't done anything funny. they fit under the factory valve covers.
