problems with my 1989 F-150

I have a 89 F-150 with the 5.0 and a 5sp.

The truck runs and strats but dies 30 sec later. It was loosing spark so i changed the cap, rotor, pickup coil, coil, module on the distriutor, ECC relay and fuel filter.

Now its keeping spark but still dying. I think its loosing fuel now! I can hear the high pressure pump kick on but im not sure if the low pressure one in the tank is bad?

what should i do? where to start? Should i change the fuel pump relay? fuel pressure regulator?

Anyone had problems with these old pickups?

have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it??? it could be a faulty pump, but you need a little more diag first.

yep pressure gauge on the port or in line if it doesnt have any ports on the rail.
