Pretty interesting to watch

Was at work today in the parking lot when I could hear a ton of police sirens whaling in the distance. About 60 seconds later here comes a black dodge charger doin 90+ in a 45 with 16 State Police and sheriff police cars in hot pursuit. The coolest part was watching every last one of them go in and out of the new roundabout at Stoney creek and whittaker rds. It looked like somthing out of a movie with every cop car just blazing in and out of the roundabout it a smoking screeching blaze of fury.

The funniest part was right across the rd is the sherriffs office. Guess the guy only made it about another 3-4 miles before they crashed him. Makes me want to be a cop....

YPSILANTI, Mich. — Michigan State Police said a routine traffic turned into a chase that ended with the arrest of a football coach.

Sgt. Chris Pascoe said troopers tried to pull over the Washtenaw Warriors football coach, whose name has not publicly been released, on Interstate 94 near the airport for tailgating, but he refused to stop.

Pascoe said he ended up leading police on a chase into Ypsilanti, where he was clipped by an MSP patrol car and crashed into a utility pole.

"There was two attempts to try to stop him with stop sticks, which are spikes that will flatten his tires, but in each case he turned prior to where he was going to come in contact with those stop sticks," he said.

Pascoe said if the driver would have pulled over, he would have received a warning. But now, Pascoe said, he could be charged with fleeing and eluding police.

The car the man was driving, a black Dodge Charger, was a rental.

Guess this guy was just "driving it like he stole it"
