Powder Coated the valve cover on my DD

Had nothing better to do today so I powder coated the valve cover on my newly aquired Ford Tempo. Adds a nice touch to an otherwise plain engine bay. Next is the intake once I decide on a color. Valve cover is done in Prismatic blue frost. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics!

I totally woulda shot it in ford gt valve cover wrinkle blue!

I'm waiting on more ford wrinkle blue to come in. The car is a baby blue color so this one fit it a little better plus I wanted to use up the rest of this powder. I do love ford wrinkle blue though!

Haha nice. My first car was a tempo but mine had a v6 in it

I wish I had a v6 or atleast a 5 speed trans. This 3 speed auto just kills me, lol. Especially coming from my Mustang since it's put away now. But for a beater, I can't complain.

So then why put any effort into making it look better under the hood? For the quickie oil change guys? lol
It just makes no sense to me but hey it's your beater and your $.

The valve cover gasket needed replacing so I figured I would do it while it was off. I powder coat from home so it's not like I actually spent money to have this done. Just another way for me to show off my work.
