post up the sleds

Here's my non-running turd. Having issues with the carb, 3rd time pulling it off to try and get the needle and seat to seal well enough not to pour out of the carb yet still run. These tillotson carbs are a joke to get the right parts for too.

I had a 74 ski doo 250 that would carry the ski's forever. But like that one it wasn't very wide and tipped over very very easy

25/35 if I remember from when I owned it about 5 or 6 years ago. Its fucked up how you got rid of it because you couldnt weld the motor mounts at the time, now I get it back and cant get the thing to run. Oh an I'm unsure which machine is older.

Oh BTW I have a decent sized lake across the street, so I just put-put around out there on it.

No one else has any sleds?

Used to have a 74 ski-doo TNT 340 F/C.... I had it doing close to 50 once. Same story, narrow stance, weighed about 300 lbs, skis easily lifted...

I'll find some pics this weekend of the newer beaters....

dont have one but want one. whats a good beginner 2 seater sled?
2 seater? Where do you plan on riding? I would say something around 500ccs todays 500s are pretty impressive they will run right next to a 600 until the big end 70-100. Hopefully next yr i can pick up a used one, i used to have a 96 ZRT 600 until it caught on fire and burned to the ground. I think im going to try and pick up my uncles 800 rev renegade or possibly a Viper.

i got a 89 yamaha exciter.. lil 570lc.. well it used to be a 570 now its in the 640 range and it stomps de'm de'er triples... i'll get some pics this weekend.

its about four diffrent colors. and the hood has some stupid polish falcon on i due to me having to due several new\used hoods and skirts for it.. haha i've rolled it a few times and hit some shit..

Those are nice sleds. Love those years.

I'd be curious as to whats done to the yamaha Igotaneed. Triples seem to run pretty damn good.

A friend of the family used to have a Rupp440 all raced out. Sold it a year or two ago. He claimed the thing would stomp newer 1000's with pipes reeds and carbs. Anyone know if that would be possible? I know the thing weighed 400lbs. or so, I get it into a truck by myself.

02 Ski Doo MXZ 600.

My dad has a 05 Ski Doo GSX 800. That thing FLAT out rips.

A good starter sled, something that you wont want to work on a lot... 05+ Ski Doo GSX, 04+ Yamaha 4-strokes, Artic Cat Crossfire or 660 Turbo, and a new Polaris IQ 600HO.

If your heavier then 200LBS i wouldnt mess with anything smaller then a 600. I am 210ish and i can handle a 800 no problem.

440's can be fast outta the whole, but around 75-80ish mph they hit a brick wall.
