Pontoon boat flooring

I procured a pontoon boat against my better judgment. Been wanting one for the pond because I'm sick of cleaning the paddle boats, row boat, kayaks etc. The boss said she liked it so much she wants it to go out on nearby lakes when not wanting to take out the jetboat.

It's ugly, slow (9.8hp Mercury), and small. I like the small part.

I needs new upholstery, bad, but I can sew and staple poorly some mediocre vinyl. I was looking at Flexa brand and just buy a 30 yard roll for about $200 so I can repair pieces if they get ruined. Not sure if this stuff is any good, but the furniture on the boat is simple enough that I can replace it again.

The deck is only 6x12. So, I was thinking about buying the cheap 34mil Marideck and gluing that down because 6x15' is only like $200. I really don't want to have to strip it again anytime soon. But I have no experience with pontoons, barely any with boats in general, and this will sit out in the weather in the summer.

What do you guys suggest?

I was thinking astroturf of the lime green might be appropriate... but there is gray on there right now and it doesn't look like it weathers well. I really don't want to be doing this job again in five years.
