Cool! Nice point of view! How quick is that car?
The best pass last year was a 9.98s at 140.1 mph. Best pass this year has been a 10.1 at 136mph on pump gas. I drove it up to Lapeer a couple of times this year for some testing and have put down a 10.5s pass hot off the road. :)

I always liked the in car vids, seems like I'm sitting in the passenger seat. LOL
hey Rick what camera are you using it seems really steady, or is it the mounting? Killer vid to say the least, congrats!! Now all I have for a request is lets see some low 9 sec passes!!!!

I picked the mounts up from the site that Ken L98Terror recommended before.

I've got the Cleat for my digital camera that I've been mounting on the window and leaning outside. I've haven't been as aggressive as Ken though in terms of mounting all the way outside the car yet. :D I need to convert these vids from Quicktime to Windows Media to get them to a resonale size.

The in-car camera is just my digital camcorder going to DV tape. The mount for that one is a monster stable piece that clamps to the shoulder bar on the cage.

stay tuned.. Rick and I are going to play with some of the Livernois car's with Ken's borrowed camera mount today :-)

Nick too bad you missed out last night, we already did that! Mounted the cam on the truck of the Livernois stang and we were doing some fly-bys past the stang, it holds really well!!

well unfortunately i wasn't invited and got the run around till i eventually just went to milan

I got there late and the track was cooling down pretty quick. So the DRs weren't at their best at that point. There's actually a little wheel spin in the 2-3 shift in the logs which is where you hear me get out and get back in on that pass.
