Pine Tree Sap - how do you remove

So last night I went to the $0.25 car wash and noticed I had dried tree sap on my car. How the F@ck do you get it off once it is hardened?

Lots of denatured alcohol on a soft rag. Gonna have to wax it after. It's gonna take some time.
