I'm not a huge poster on here but figured i'd post up for those that need more to look at. Just picked this car up from my buddy about 3-4 weeks ago. came with the normal bolt ons(intake, pulley, exhaust, tune, irs brace/bushings). only thing i've done is lowered it, painted the brakes, ported blower/plenum/tb, mafia, bap, short shifter, and kdw's on the rear. I've been very happy with it thus far, big step up from my '00 gt I had before this. Anyways here's some pics, I'm looking for the same style wheels only chrome if anyone knows of any for sale.

I wish i wouldn't have waited this long to get one. I had a '95 with a 347 and 100 shot, then my '00 gt which was a stalled auto with a 150 shot and this cobra puts them all to shame. the '95 might be a little faster but this is just so much of a better all around car, has great street manners, handles/rides good, get 18/23 mpg city/hwy, and gets lots of looks.

Yeah I'm done with foxes time to step up the game. By next year I will have a 03/04 or new 5.0
 
^ yup time to get with the new school. I would have loved to get a new 5.0 as well, but for half the price I'm in love with my cobra.
 
Congrats on the car. I used to laugh when I'd drive through a crowd and ppl would point at my car and be like "whoa, a terminator" There is a lot of hype that comes w/those cars for sure.

I think I've seen you around...nice car!

I'm not sure if you'd be interested, but there's a local group of guys that usually meets up in the Midland O'Reilly's parking lot on Friday night. If you'd be interested, just PM me your number or email address and I can text you or email you when I hear about the next meet-up! It's mostly import guys (including a 9 second Evo), but also a lot of domestic guys as well. Usually 2-3 GTOs...last time there was an 850hp NA Viper ACR. Not a large group, but a good group of guys/girls.
 
yeah i've heard of that, I'm part of a local tri city's forum called illicitspeed and there's a couple guys from there that live in the area that go. I know steve with the yellow gto and i believe dave with the evo is even a member. last weekend a couple guys from saginaw went up there (orange t/a and silver evo and others) went up but i had previous engagements. I'm sure i'll cruise up there sometime this summer.
 
also, that was most likely the previous owner that you saw, he lived in the midland area. He's my buddy and I just bought the car from him a few weeks ago, and haven't been out of saginaw with it really.
 
Ah, cool! Well, either way, nice car! I really like Cobras, but just couldn't get over the interior (just wasn't very comfortable and looked a little cheap to me personally). If I was looking for a second car, I'd be more willing to accept it, but when you're stuck with one car you have to like how it looks and feels on the inside.
