People need to get a clue.

Why is it that people think it is ok to follow you home to ask about your car? So this past week I was on my way home from Blockbuster when this guy spots my car which happens to be the same car as his. He happens to be standing outside his car at a gas station. So he decides to hop in his car and speeds to try and catch up to me. Well he finally catches up to me and decides to follow me back to my house. Rather than stop and park my car I lead him through the neighborhood hoping that he would get the drift. As much as I really wanted to stop and give him an ass chewing I decided to think about it reasonable in case he had a gun or something. It is cool to ask me about my car but following me home is another thing unless you are a goodlooking woman and are lost, lol.

So how do others handle this type of situation?

Im an all around genuine guy and dont mind engaging into car convo, but I was followed some years ago when i had my National. The one thing I didnt do was take them where I lived. I drove to another spot where there were people and made a phone call for some friends to meet me. Mind you these guys talked to me for about 30 mins about drag racing... I guess it depends on the read you get off the person(s).

found a parking lot and pulled in, allowing them to pull up NEXT to me driver door to driver door and BS.

unfortunately, I don't ahve a nice enough car for ppl to do that.
(but it's in the process -- still)

If your following me and its obvious I'll look at my watch and gas gauge and make you take a little road trip if you want to follow me :D

I don't know you? Then I don't trust you! You could be eying up my car and some parts off of it.....

you should feel good that your car is nice enough for someone to be so interested in it! I agree though, I would have just pulled into a parking lot so you guys could BS.. no big deal!

I had someone do that to me. the fucker even pulled in my driveway. wanted to talk to me about how fast my car was and my exhaust.

OH BTW did i mention it was one of Saint Clair Shores finest.

That is weird and disrespectful.

Two years ago, I had an SUV following me for a while and even turned into my sub. I passed my street and kept going...then turned on to two other streets. The SUV followed, then turned around and sped off fast. I turned around and followed them. They stopped ahead and one person got out and stood there. I stayed far back because it was dark, the SUV was tinted out, I had no idea who or what was in there. I back up and got the hell outta there. I took about an hour cruise around town then circled the sub carefully (twice) and went home.

Pist me off!!

I've had a cop follow me to a friends house to ask about my car before :dunno: nothing special just a 4x4 red cobra with a gay ass hood.

Definitely wouldn't lead someone I thought was following me back to my house. If i suspect someone is following me and it seems creepy, I'd problaby try to ditch them. I'm going to bet I can out drive them and you only have to get a couple turns ahead to lose someone.
