Parts cleaning advice

Anybody know of any places that do parts cleaning cheap? I'm in northwest Macomb county.

After an hour of scrubbing a bellhousing in a bucket with simple green I would rather take a running jump off a bridge :)

Will the sandblasting/powder coating type companies even want to bother with small jobs?

What exactly is on the thing? Simple Green is some potent shit, never had a problem cleaning off anything I've had. :headscrat

The trick to simple green is letting it soak. Then scrub.

The inside of the bell is just caked with burnt/baked on oil. Simple green is cutting through in some spots, but I'm mostly just smearing everything around. :)

Spray a LOT of simple green on, let it soak. Wipe off with the red shop rag. You can try WD40 and brake cleaner also but if you let simple green soak, and repeat a few times it should come off pretty easily.

EDIT- The only reason I say to do this is some bullshit shop is going to want way too much money for 5 minutes of time to sandblast it.

i always take my parts to the quarter car wash, spray em down with engine degreaser, let it soak for a min, then hit it with brake cleaner, then powerwash the shit out of it and repeat. just did a set of heads this way the other day. they cleaned up nice
