Opinions about quick drain plug

I'm always leaking some hot oil down my arm or on the floor during oil changes. Anyone use this type of quick drain? Pros or cons?

we use them on alot of our rental machines anything from a backhoe and bulldozer to a skidsteer we have never had one vibrate loose or anything. the only thing im not sure about is weather or not all the oil is actually drained because that drain is screwed in a 1/4 of an inch into the pan.
