Opinion on my old Ford

Gotta sell my old Ford. What do you guys think I should ask for realisticly??

Blue book is around $8500.

97 f250 4X4HD with 90,000 460/auto. Interior is mist and Body is as well other than the usual rust spots on the tailgate.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know what it's worth but that definitely looks like it's in really good condition.
 
truck looks awesome, unfortunately i don't know that you will swing the 8500 for it in these times. worth a shot though you can always make a deal.
 
I hear you. I should have sold it 2 or 3 years ago. LAZINESS!!

Would like to trade it even up for something. That'll probably be easier these days! If I have to, I may just trade it in.. Back to laziness again.. HAHAHA

My wife is 4'11. Has a little hard time getting up in the truck:thumbsup:
 
Sweet looking truck. Curious, what kind of honest gas mileage does that 460/auto get??

She gets about 10 and 16 if she's pulling a rig, or if she's unloaded.. gets pretty close the same mileage!

If I keep her, I may put in some diff gears. But the 4.10's are so much fun.

And I would love to trade, but I'm looking for a FAMILY-FRIENDLY:mad: vehicle for the wifey. Probably gonna get her a Mariner or a 01-04 Grand Cherokee
 
I love the simplicity of that body style and the fact it was the last with a solid front axle.

I think it will pull some cash from the right buyer, cant believe you want to sell it!

Incorrect, Chevy has the IFS. 99-04's also have a solid front axle with leaf springs. 05+ they have coils.





Truck is very clean. kinda shitty its a 460 but i dont think your far off asking 8-8500 for it. Some people are out looking for those esp with the 7.3's i think youll get somewhere in that neighborhood for it + or - some.

change is good sometimes, but you will always remember like damn i wish i did not not get rid of it.... Looks badass to me, I would def make that a plow truck if I was to scoop it up.... But she is clean bro get what you want for it, Dont give it away.:thumbsup:with you sale and your next purchase:thumbsup:
