Open house at Saleen in Troy

Just thought i would let everyone know that this Friday the 15th, Saleen will be having an open house. It is open to the public from noon-4pm. Tours of the plant will be given and there will be a few displays around the building. While your at it, come visit me because I will be working at the front desk! :D

I bet that paint shop was 123567436178265987 degrees last month.

I wonder is they ever finished that wide body car from cali that the owner had in there for like 10 years and it still was not even close to being done! The only thing that plan had going for them was all the money ford was giving them for the Ford GT once that stopped down hill they went! Not to mention Rich Rinke lol :icon_mrgr

I've been to this a couple of times. Stumbled across it randomly driving by the first summer I lived up here and had since discovered it was an annual thing. I don't know how the tour is now but it was cool when they were building the Ford GT's. The first year we got yelled at for taking pictures and then the last year of GT production they were just finishing up at te time of the tour and they allowed pics. So I'm not sure what you could discern from that about what their policy would be now. They seemed to not care as long as Ford didn't care though so I would guess they allow pics, although I'm not really sure what would be that interesting to take pictures of. They just tear apart Mustangs and put them back together now right?

My buddy works there. Does paint on the new Vipers. His name is Loren, drives a 96 Mystic that is there now and again. Know him?

I know a lot of the faces around here, but i could not put names to them... sorry...

and as for all the negativity in this thread.... sorry for bringing back bad memories to some people... i just thought i would be nice and share some info, and maybe be entertained at work by some of the MM visitors that i might see friday.....???? :pow:


there is also more then mustangs here.... S7's, the new S5S Raptor, the aqua car, vipers, challengers, trucks, ford GT's, the new racecraft line.... no chevy's tho :(

Is your name Tina? I told him about this thread last night while we were out cruising... he started naming off names and I couldn't remember yours..
