my buddy has a 68 olds cutlass with a 455 , i re gasketed his motor for him a few months back and now hes got the motor in the car running , we cant for the life of us find out ware the oil dipstick goes , theres not a hole in the oil pan , and we cant find any holes in the side of the block ware one would go either ,., also we got the car timed at 12-14* , cars a fresh rebuild with a small cam , timing sound right ?
 
Dip stick is on the driver side it goes into the block just above the oil pan right around the number 5 piston area.
 
thanks man ........ any timing numbers anyone ? cars at 12-14* right now and seems to like it but i was wondering if i cold go any more because the guy plans on running 93octane in it
