Team Z k member, flaming river rack, and steering shaft. I have a gap where the to two would meet together, am I missing a certain part or.... ill snap a pic when I get home.

The one I did we had to lengthen the steering shaft because the k frame was lower than the stock ford. But I used a AJE.

Have you tried pulling the shaft from your steering column down more?

If it is a drop rack k it moves the rack lower. You then need to use a longer shaft like the flaming river kit but if the one you bought was used and already assembled for another setup it might not be long enough.

Dammit, is there somewhere out there where you can buy the longer shaft only??? Instead of buying a whole new steering shaft

Ordered the jegs piece not the FR,hopefully all works out well. If iit don't work then ill return it and get the FR shaft. Good lookin out Bigg. And thanks Motown

just ran into the same problem , if your rough on the original steering shaft (hitting with hammer) to get it out ....it can slide up into the column

just stick the bolt back in and pry against it. it will move out .....but don't go to far lol
or performance warehouse sells the "d" shaft in stock in garden city
