Ok I really want to do something to my car this year, however

I lack the skills and Cash to pay someone; so is there anyone on here who could teach me/ help me do a tranny swap in the fiero? I would be going from a 4T60E to a 4T40 (I think thats the old 4 Speed Auto non Elec model)

How much time / Beer would this take? Is there anyone willing to guide me?

My plans are not secret. I want to turbo this Caddy 4.9L. The ecm is a real limiting factor, so I need to swap trannies before i can go to another ecm/Megasquirt. The gentlemen I paid to do my swap turbo'd his and it was a screamer, 1.3 60's and 12.2 in the 1/4 and it wasn't tuned for shit. Since I would be moving to a more tunable Fuel Injection setup I don't think 11's would be out of reach.

I'd be willing to help ya. I'd even bring a huge fiero friend of mine (86 GT 3.4 supercharged/bored/stroked/full handmade body kit, 85 Eclipse audios demo car, and an 84 with a northstar going in) along but I don't have time. Next time I'll be home really is Christmas Break and I'm working 50hr weeks the whole time.
