Thoughts opinions????

I think the Cards are going to be hurt when Verlander destroys them in the first 5-7innings(depending on how much they use him.). Then Zoom Zoom in with Jones finishing...

Game Two... Rogers?? Nuff said...

I think between the Mets and the Cards, the one team that really has any chance of taking out the Tigers, is the Cards. I think they will win the first 2, lose, 3, and win the rest. They have so much to prove to the world that they just won't go down easy. Like the Piston's against the Lakers. They had something to prove. The Cards have nothing to prove. We have the worst record in history to wash away.

is he good to go? last i heard they weren't sure on his condition.

Sean Casey and Joel Zumaya are both good to go! Leyland has said he will use Casey as the DH in games 1 and 2, and then will put him at first base for games 3 and 4. As for Zumaya, Leyland will use him when he sees necessary. Bottom line, as long as our pitching/hitting both stay as consistant as they have been through our 7 game postseason winning streak, we will sweep the Cards! This is a classic matchup too, remember, the last time the Tigers and Cards met in the world series (68), we won! I like our chances!

Unless we are down or in a tie game I don't expect you'll see Zoom Zoom. He's ready but Leyland is a smart man and knows that having him in game 5 or 6 is going to mean much more than burning him in games one or two.

My prediction is tigers in 7. I just don't see the cards going down easy, but I feel we have the roster to get the better of this series.

The tigers will do just fine. They got off to a rough start which I was concerned about seeing as they had a week off waiting on the NLCS to wrap up. They'll be back in proper form tonight.

I agree. If they show the same peerformance tonight, well I will get a tad concerned. But in the end it is the best of 7.
