Picked this badboy up from a newer member on here, Its a 03 Gt motor with less than 100 miles on it. Should be a nice upgrade from my 98 Gt non PI motor that has 90k + on it and smokes, Should make for a nice change in power....

Hopfully have it in within 2 weeks, going to take it out to pauls shop and knock it out in a day or two hopfully.

If i had any spare money i would, If anything i might get a set of cams for it...I have full exhaust and all bolt ons so it should run decently strong and more reliable than what i have now, I figure its practicly a brand new motor i dont want to tear it down just yet, drop it in and beat on it for a year or two....definatly going to get the wet kit installed now.. I have a couple pics of the motor im going to post, tell me what you guys think.
 
Im pretty sure the motor is very very low mileage...

Congrats man, now install that nitrous. You'll love a full bolt on gt, with a 100 shot, I know I do. I would suggest doing the cams right now with the motor out, it might be easier. Also get the heads ported, those are my plans for the winter. I'm hoping for 400rwhp with full bolt-ons, a nx 100 shot, vt stage 2 cams, and ported heads with a good dyno tune.
 
if i had an extra $1,000 right now i would have the heads cleaned up, but i ust went broke pickn this thing up...also picked up an 03 cobra front bumper..
 
Oh ok thats cool. I'd like to get that cobra r hood you have, but I'd rather just make the car go faster haha. How much did you pay for it plus paint?
 
I also read a few articles on cam swaps with the 01 and up Gts that makes a cam swaps real easy using the downs tool that you put down the timing cover to hold the chain tight and just swap the cams out and not have to pull the front cover, so thats what i plan on doing. BTW anyone know where i can find a driver side valve cover for the motor? this one had a crack in it.

I think i paid like 300 for it from the garage sale forum a few months ago. My buddy painted it for real cheap, i think like $150 or so. the hood is functional, real vents not just a visual effect.
