Awhile ago I posted about wanting to put a clevor engine from a 69' Boss clone into a 94-95 Stang.

In the end, I didn't want to spend 5k+ for a very clean GT just to tear it apart and throw more money into it.

Found this car about 20 miles from my house and the guy was asking a fair price. It's a Florida car with NO rust (just came up to MI last year and purchased from the original owner) and a clean CarFAX report. The guy got it for a weekend car but his wife recently had a kid and didn’t have much time for it anymore.

1997 Z28 (stock, excellent condition)
88,000 miles
6-Speed
Power everything
Upgraded stereo with 12 disc changer (soon to be upgraded by me)
T-tops
Leather
Brand new performance tires and brakes (around 800 miles on them)
All fluids changed and replaced with high performance stuff (like royal purple)

:rockwoot: Looks like its going to be a good summer.

 That was the first thing my neighbor said when we showed up to check it out.

Right now I'm on Hilton Head Island (South Carolina) on vacation with my parents. I'll wash her up and get better pics when I get home. I literally had only a few days to check out the car, take care of the loan, get insurance, and do the tax, title, and registration before we took off.

My neighbor is going to sell me most of his bolt-ons off of his 96' SS for a good price as he can no longer use them. His car is currently getting a built 383, stage 3 transmission, moser 12 bolt, etc. I'll post some pics of his car when it starts coming together.

All of the pics of the engine turned out really dark. Thats the best I could do after using photoshop.

Like I said I'll get some better pics up after I get home.

I got the car for just over 7k. Blue book on the car is around $6950.
I plan on keeping it for quite a few years and right now I'm only planning on mild port work for the heads, cam, exhaust / bolt-ons from my neighbor, and a tune.

400-450hp range is fine with me.

I'll upgrade the rest as parts start to break. The biggest requirement for this purchase was a very clean (rust free) vehicle with near perfect interior.
