been at this truck for a wile now but haven't been working on it much.
it was a 92 f150, my 2nd truck i bought when i was in high school.
at that time i was dumb and didn't have much cash so on went the body lift...
cleared a set of 33s and i was happy. made many trips to the mounds and mud bogs beating the crap out of the 185,000mile truck.
well something had to give, grenade the spider gears in the rear end.
thats when i started the build up.
i bought a 80s 4x4 f150 from a friend with a built 351w/aod thats sead to put down 450hp at the tires. yanked the motor, trans and t-case.
ripped all of the efi/computer controlled crap out of my 92 and took the 84 to the scrap yard.
picked up a HP d44 out of a 79 bronco, ordered a pair of cage offroad radius arms and 6 in bds coils and 6 in bds leafs for the back.
put all that stuff on along with a d60 out of my first truck a 76 f250
put the outers from the 3/4ton d44 on the 1/2ton d44, so now i have a 3/4ton 118in wb truck
so its been sitting like that for well over two years, with being in a long distance relations ship, buying a quad, buying a house i haven't had time or money pulse having something else to play with i didn't feel the need to finish the truck.
well now I'm situated in my house, I'm ready to move the truck here to finish it.
the plans are to take the body lift off, cut the fenders to clear 36x15.50 or 38x15.50
get everything re wired to be happy and simple.
pick up a t-case outa bronco(non slip yoke)
axles are getting 4.88s a spool or locker in rear and an electric locker in the front.
full cage,
eventually id would like to get fiberglass fenders and fix up the rest of the body, and paint the whole thing with truck bed liner.
