the orange coupe was probably the best looking car there,i was kind of shocked to see it only run a mid 11,that thing looks like a 8 sec car
 
i wish i could have been there saturday to shoot, because by the time i shot this one, i was wasted. :lol:

:crap:YEah we are having a few problems with it. it should be running very low 10's on motor. but as of right now we are just starting to make some adjustments. I went from 10.60 yesterday morning to 11.02, 11,04 11.09 I guess i should not have taken it on the 30 mile true street trip LOL
after we get the suspension and motor dialed in a little better i'll start spraying it :w00t:

i took 4 gigs worth of shots, but a lot of them were repeats and stuff. i'll upload a few more here in a few. i'm not much of a drag racing guy, hell, even dirty bird asked what the hell i was doing at a drag strip. :lol: the truth is i know the guy in the shot pulling tire, and i am very good friends with the son of the guy running the 96 mystic. a few of the modular depot guys since i used to live around there.

but the mystic is the only car i've seen the entire transformation of. he only runs like 12.30's because he refuses to cage it. went best of 11.20 i believe, and this race was the first time he'd driven the car in over a year.

edit, relatively funny story behind his "gidee up" license plate. it used to say "stallion," however, women from work were getting the wrong idea and his wife wasn't really feelin' it if you know what i mean. :lol:

i didn't know her all that well, so i didn't include her in many pics. i didn't feel all that comfortable if you know what i mean.
 
Love my new BlackBerry Tour (moreso because my place of employment pays for it) :)

I was surprised to see that it takes a somewhat decent photo considering it is a cam-phone (3.2 MP)...

It was an 86. He swapped in an 03-04 Cobra motor out of a burned up Terminator. C4, E-85 and a small shot. He was running 18" MT DR's.....said his goal was 9's on 18's. Real cool guy I talked to him for a little bit.
