what is this going in. I have a gm navigation radio with a ipod interface and back up camera. that you also can hook up a vidio device to play on the screen.

I have the Bose 6 disc out of my 2007 TBSS.

Do you also need the bose amp? bose speakers?

Everything was pulled at 1,500 miles.

Will the radio work without the amp? I really wasnt looking to re-wire the whole truck if you know what I mean.

Its bad enough that I had half the dash out of it an hour after I picked it up from the dealer.

I hope you know someone at a dealership. I am pretty sure they need to "unlock" it to work for you car, atleast that is what I was told. Thats what is stopping me from switching over my factory HU to another one.

Do you have the "sun & sound" package? I assume not.

If you have the Bose system, you will already have the factory amp. It's located on the rear passenger side behind the air compressor system. You need to pull off the plastic trim/cover to make sure.

Since our vehicles are so close, you might be able to pull off the swap (assuming you have the Bose amp) without having the dealership re-program your head unit.

This new stereo stuff is not like the old stuff. You can't just go swapping around factory head units.

I thought it had the sun and sound package. I told them I wanted the 3SS package without nav. and rear DVD. I didnt even notice the radio untill I got home.

I Will have to check to see if I have the amp. Is there any trick to taking the plastic off?
