New GM fuel pumps-dual inbasket type

I am looking for more info on the pumps GM is running on the LSa's, I see its a dual pump in the tank that is modulated. So I am guessing the Pump controller sees the PCMS commanded fuel and pulses the pumps accordingly for the amount of fuel needed for that Throttle position/fuel demands??

How long would you guess before you could get a Denso replacement part?? Would it be cheaper than a aeromotive? or (trying not to use these) walbro's
Would it be possible to convert this 'super-pump' to run in older cars that dont have the ability to operate the pulse modulator? Like adding a hobbs switch??

I know my fuel system is going to need some attention before I can throw some boost at it and tried and true dual walbros just seem like more problems than relaiability. But is relaibility out with two parts to fail anyway???

I am so ready for spring!

sorry here is a part # 19207950

Its An electric returnless fuel system. Iirc The fuel pump voltage is varied to reduce electrical load and not run the pump as hard. Might be pwm control. If you are working with a ctsv fuel system (tanks and senders) you can play with that stuff to some degree. But, if you are doing a custom swap with an lsa, just build a single pump system that can support the required fuel flow rate.
