New Ford Mini Pick Up

The one thing I do notice about it is that the box seems to be part of the body. Most pickups have a big gap between the box and cab, but there is no gap on this truck. Does that mean it is a unibody? And, I don't want to make an assumption here - I don't see a tailpipe either. Is it an electric? THAT would be a game-changer.

Honda Ridgeline is like that. They have a fake gap line to make it look like it has a separate bed from the “cab”.

Interesting.

That's the first thing I thought about when I seen the picture was Honda Ridgeline.

Good eye! The video did discuss that it appears to be a unibody.
I don't think they caught what appears to be a lack of tailpipe.

Looks like they are going for the people that want to drive a truck but don't really need a truck. If the price is right it could do well, I just hope it's not like the ranger. I was so excited for it to come back and so disappointed when the pricing was released.

Honestly, this is exactly what I need. Every couple years I haul 60 or 70 bags of mulch. The skid fits perfectly in the back of my Silverado. Do I need the full capacity of the truck though? Probably not. I could get by with unibody truck like this if it was cheaper and electric - even if I had to make two trips for mulch.

The problem is that a full size 1500 (or 150 for that matter depending on brand) is one of the cheapest things vehicles you can lease. I looked at Colorado's but it was still cheaper to lease a Silverado. Even buying used doesn't make sense because two three year leases is cheaper than a six year loan on a three year old truck. Until that switches, I will be getting full size trucks whether I need them or not!
