New exhaust suggestions

So after lowering my 99 GT last year I've finally fucked up the exhaust on a steep driveway...

So now I need to decide what kind of exhaust I wanna get. I currently have Flow 2 chambers with basanni o/r x pipe... And as much as I like thwe sound of the flows, when coming off hi r's the buzzing from the cans has gotten to me...

So I'm thinking either:

SLP Loudmouth 1 / Mainly for the size of the resonators, stainless, mean sound, and the nice tips
or
Steeda cuz it sounds awesome on Chris's car

I'd like to go with the SLP's due to the $200 price diff, but if anyone has any pros or cons either way it would be appreciated.

IDK how they sound on Mustangs, but Loudmouths and no cats on the LS1's sound pretty shitty. It may be due to the y-pipe design they run. But, there's some serious rasp/resonance with the LM on our cars. With cats, it's a different story. I liked the way my '02 sounded when it was catted.

THE LOUDEST MOST OBNOXIOUS EXHAUST I'VE EVER HAD ON A CAR

So I ended up buying the same thing for my 04 Cobra :D

like someone else said, its subjective. i cant say i like the sound of an LS1 to begin with. but on the other hand, i think its relatively impossible to mess up the sound of a 4.6 mod. the only think i can think of, is making it to quiet. :rockwoot:

flowmasters are like assholes. every one has one and they all sound like shit! well, they all sound the same anyways.
 
MAGNAFLOWS!!!!! i have them on my 5.0, switched from Dynocraps and i will NEVER go back. killer sound at idle, not too loud, but loud as hell when you get into it and the sound is pure :wank:
 
Mags are played out these days too ;)


I'm the only asshole on Motown with an overpriced Steeda GT (read Borla)catback :lol:
