new bill for orvs on roads

That would be great. I have a couple military M998 Humvee that have ORV titles. I had been trying to figure out ways to get them road legal.
 
I could see this, maybe, being feasible and useful up north. I don't think it's very good idea in the metro area. Speaking as someone with several ORVs, allowing quads and dirt bikes to run Woodward at 45+ MPH just doesn't very smart.

Agree, but I also don't see a lot of quad riders wanting to install windshields, wipers, windshield washers, seat belts, turn signals, etc

Would this scenario would make Michigan look like Vietnam? Would the state lose money from cheaper license plates, people burning less gas?

unless the orv is equipped with a fuel tank capacity to accomodate a far commuting range for DD use, I wouldn't expect it to throw off the current usage.
