New bike :)

Captain Slow
Had an itch for another bike since I sold the last one last year...decided to go a little bigger this time. The bike itself is a blast to ride...feels much more stable and more comfortable than the R6. Power is there all the time, but I wasn't pushing it at all considering the rear tire is BALD (new one on the way).

Anyway, here it is:

I guess I'll go get my flame suit on...

btw, the bike came with a cover, the helmet ($500 new), some gloves (already had a pair that I liked, though), a battery tender, and front and rear tire stands. It also has just under 5000 miles on it.

Looks like a nice bike :D

Personally, I would never use a used helmet, I always bought new with my sleds. it's like buying a used hat

Yeah, I disinfected it before I used it. Unfortunately, I sold my helmet after I sold the bike, and never got around to buying a new one.

That bike looks extremely nice. Im jealous, and miss my 01 ZX6-R even more now.

Thanks dude.

Congrats, hope you enjoy it, and be safe!

Yeah, most people who know me know that I am not the most reckless driver out there...I pretty much drive like a Grandma. Same on a bike...I just love the way it looks and love the size...gives a nice solid/stable feel when riding around...not nearly as twitchy as my R6 was. But I'm fine with cruising 5mph over the speed limit. No need to test the near 200mph top speed...I'd probably start crying and pooping myself if I did

Related note...I do realize the tire is bald in the back. The replacement is already on the way. Also, I hate the way stock motorcycle turn signals look, so I've already ordered flush-mount front turn signals and an undertray with LED plate bracket. Same basic mods I did to my R6:

I've always like Kawasakis and always liked the bigger bikes, that thing could chew up highway miles like nothing I bet. Awfully green, though.

I want a bike, and I had a chance to pick up my brothers, but I dont know how to ride...so my dilemma sucks lol.
Nice purchase bro...bike looks sweet!

Stupid flushmount signals are on backorder...oh well...I'll try later on. Got a good refund, though...cost +10%. So basically, I'll go back in a month and order them again, and still have $10 left over :)

Nice bike. I miss riding. The bigger bike is much more fun on the E-way too, when you see a spot, or need to get outta the way, you are there. IMO 5 over the speed limit is about 10,000 times safer than actually going the speed limit. You are a deadman going same speed as everyone else, in their own little world..............

im the same way riding my bike. im comparable to the old ass guy driving a new zo6.

ill save the speed for where its necessary, im not trying to get hurt like a lot of people i know. know a few people that died and a lot that went down fucking around riding.

btw, nice bike, looks real clean
