Need some help with rear brakes on LS1 F-body

Possibly buying a 10-bolt rear end out of an LS1 F-body to put into my LT1 car, but it doesn't have the brakes still on it. The LS1 and LT1 rear brakes are different and it requires swapping the axle shafts, so putting my existing LT1 rear brakes on isn't an option I want to pursue, plus the brakes off of my car are pretty much junk anyway.

Is anyone on here familiar with the rear brakes on an LS1 10-bolt and what parts/brackets I need to acquire beside the basic calipers/rotors/pads/fluid lines? Any help would be appreciated.

What's the purpose of installing the 10-bolt?? does the car not have a rear now?? what kinda power levels?

The car currently has a junkyard rear end in it that's the crustiest 10-bolt you've ever seen and it leaks. I have another 10-bolt laying around that's in nicer shape, however is leaking at the pinion seal and doesn't have the right gear ratio for what I want. I figure vs. rebuilding either of them and/or swapping the gears, I can get a very very low mileage 10-bolt with the correct gears for a few hundred bucks and it's cheaper than even getting a gearset put in the one. Plus the brakes are absolute junk on both rear ends I have now anyway.

I'm not worried about breaking it. Only talking mid-300's at the rear wheels, and it'll only be at the strip on track rentals because it isn't setup for drag racing. It's not worth the money to put a better rear in it now, plus I simply can't afford it if I want to get the car drivable in the next month like I'm hoping. This is not for the car in my sig in case anyone is wondering, I'd be insane to put a 10-bolt in that car.

Lol I knew that you knew better but I just wanted to make sure. I don't think I have any extra LT1 stuff laying around but I'll check when I get home

lol, I guess I should be more clear in my first post. I'm possibly buying an LS1 rear without brakes, and I need to know what parts I need to buy to put the LS1 brakes back on it aside from the calipers/rotors/pads themselves. I'm not familiar with how the rear brakes on these cars attach.

They have different housing ends. If you put in a ls1 rear you will need ls1 brakes and vice versa.

Right, I'm just wondering what the individual components are they I have to chase down since I don't have an LS1 car to transplant the brakes from. Are the only things I need the calipers, rotors, pads, fluid lines, backing plates, and e-brake cables?

Pretty much.

LT1 e-brake handle won't work? Are the caliper brackets the same as the backing plates? I haven't done the brakes on one of these cars in years, let alone an LS1 car.
