need some help on finding a vacation mansion

Every year my wifes family has a reunion in Lexington, MI. They rent out a string of 8 cabins on the beach for 7 days in mid july. Lots of kids, lots of adults. They've been doing it for the past 30 years. Same place, same time. The owners of the cabins are on their way out. Very old and ready to pass on. They told us that next year we are booked no matter what, but 2015, its time for us to find a new spot.

The family has been talking and we've decided that we want to try and find a huge ass house on a lake to rent. (Preferably on a great lake) ive been looking and looking and have not found much out there that suits our needs. Anyone know anyone that has a spot to rent within 4 hours of wayne county?

We need at least 10 to 12 bedrooms and a lot of space to hang out in. (Like a game room, multiple living rooms, whatever)

If anyone knows of something, shoot it my way. Thanks.

Yes. Thats where theyve been going for the past 30 years. Bob and oogie are like family to them. Sad that its coming to an end, but thats life.

in like 2007, me and some friends rented a 9000 sq foot log cabin overlooking lake michigan, it was DOOOOOPPPPEEEEEEEEE! let me see if i can find the info from my buddy
 
My wife's family has been going there for a very long time as well, usually the week of July 4th. At one point they were renting 3-4 of the cabins, but over the years less and less people can make it. This past year they only rented the first two cabins. We go up there every year for a day while they're staying there. The cabins are tiny, but the whole place is cool and the beach is nice. I didn't hear them saying anything about future reservations.
I was looking for some places up by torch lake and found a lot of big houses for rent. I'd just like a small cabin for 4-6 people but most of them were pretty much mansions.
 
If you guys are looking to keep doing the cabin thing a bit further north in oscoda is the Mai tiki resort. It's cabins and a condo/hotel building with a huge private beach. We do a jet ski race there and it's awesome.
