Looking for a reputable custom body guy. I'm looking to to do a dbl glass moonroof on my f250 from a 2015 f150. I have the whole roof from with moonroof from a 2015 f150, so all the framing is there. I'd like to cut 3" around from where the moonroof is and cut the same portion on my truck so it can just sit in. I trying to explain the best way I can but I think you get the message. Now I think it would have to be riveted on cause the f150 roof is Aluminum and my f250 is metal. I think it can be done just takes time, anyone who knows of a place or Guy to take on this project please tag them or pm me there info thanks. I have pics but for some reason I can't post them. Any help, suggestions please lmk. Thanks

Thanks for the tips guys I just called and left a message hopefully he will call me back tonight or tomorrow and I can give them details and pictures of what I'd like to do I have an idea of where his shop is I'm almost positive I seen cars outside his place a couple times

Thanks for the input guys I'm having thoughts on this now because as I was on my way to a local body shop with the trailer I don't know how it happened but as I got there and was showing the guys the moonroof I pulled my top off of it and noticed there is a chip on the glass now I have no idea how that got there possibly something fell and landed on it is my guess

Have you entertained the idea of going aftermarket? If it were same material and just a weld in, I'd not suggest aftermarket. The way you're setup is might pose leaks, rusting short term, never sealing right and having wind noise issues.

If I remember correctly, the new F150's are repaired with rivets, not welding. There will also be the issue of bonding two dissimilar medals and having it expand and contract. I doubt you'll find anyone who'll want to touch this type of job.

You're going to need a steel roof if you want to do this change to your F250.
Galvanic Corrosion from dissimilar metals means it won't work with aluminum on steel.
