Need some car advice please

Hey. New to this site. My cousin recommended it to me to sell something. But that's another place.

I have wanted a mustang forever. My dad had a 90's blue convertiable so I think that is where I got the love for the mustang.

Well with the new 2015's I am less then impressed. I am looking for advice if you all think it is best to buy a new 2014, or wait and find a used one in 2015 with extremely low miles. Tryin to figure out the best bet. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

I'm curious how low the remaining '14s will go for too. Buying new is good if you plan to finance. Buying new is also good if you plan to keep it a long time (you'll be the "first owner"). But if you wait too long for new then you may be limited on colors and options.

Start shopping deals now and stack up the money as you wait. I personally like the '15 but you can't go wrong with the current 5.0. Tried and true!

I'd wait u til the '15s come out to actually see and drive one, there will surely be plenty of new remaining '14s at that time that will be going for cheap.

Oh my bad on the wrong thread. Still trying to work on that.

The cost is so different between one that is "used" with like 10k and a new one.
I don't think the new ones are going to wear on me.

As always, if you're really interested in comparing the two, drive both. Objectively compare the pros and cons of each. If the one you like more is a little more expensive, determine if the extra cost is worth it. The only way to really determine which you would be most satisfied with is to really look at both in a logical, objective way. Talk to Matt and arrange a back-to-back test drive. Compare everything you need in the car...whether that's power, comfort, trunk space, ergonomics, etc. Look at each in an unbiased way, removing as much of the "emotion" out of it. A car purchase is a big deal...it's usually a pretty large commitment for at least 2-3 years. Might as well get exactly what you want. No way for any of us to tell you that - it's something you'll just have to figure out on your own.

When I was helping my mom pick out her car, I developed a spreadsheet with everything they were looking for...comfort, leg room, power, interior, exterior, etc. They arranged to look at about 4 or 5 different models over 2 days. I went with them, and had them rate each category on a 1-5 scale. Also had them note any observations, or additional pros or cons...sort of a "what did you like the most, what did you dislike the most" kind of thing. At the end, we went through and added everything up, got an overall score, and weighed the additional observations. It helped them immensely because it helps to remove that initial emotional response...keeps you on target, and forces you to look at things in an objective way.

That's my advice anyway.
