Need some axles made up...

Anyone have a place that they'd recommend that can make/create FWD axles for a GM car?

What I need to do is take my hub side joints and take the trans side joints and have it all on one axle per side. I'd like to go with bigger shafts if at all possible, but stock shafts would be ok for now. I just need a reputable shop that has great turn around time that knows what they're doing.

I do have the trans side axle housings and my stock complete axles on hand, just no time to be dicking around with it right now to figure it out.

PM me if you do not wish to post here. Thanks!

Shaftmasters do not make anything for FWD applications.

Anyone deal with Axles of Dearborn?

You're another person that said that about Axles of Dearborn...
Then what are my other options locally? I do not want to go out of state for something like this... and being Michigan, this is supposed to be the motor city capital!

You're going to have to go out of state... No other choice... You want quality it has to go out of state...

I'm more concerned about getting the correct length and it sliding in the splines correctly. If I have to goto dss they will want measurements. I just dont have everything parts wise assembled to do that.

ummm, since this sounds like a swap, you need everything assembled to get the correct length............

Of course its a "swap". This wouldn't be an issue if it was stock going stock. The axles could be developed by knowing stock layout of both vehicles and what the differences between the two are. If there should be an issue, I can't have a fast correction when I have to ship the stuff back and forth versus driving to the place and dropping it all off. Been there many times, got that t shirt.
