Need slicks mounted

I normally take my stufff to Utica Recap. They have a lot of experience mounting anything, including stuff with tubes.

I always just make the drive down to McCormicks for anything like that. They seem to have the most experience with stuff like that

Gratiot wheel are good people, or actually right down the road from you john Mt clemens trans and Tire
They have done quite a few paddle tires for me and they are easy to deal with....ask for JR

DIY. Mounting slicks is easy. Buy 3 tire irons from Harbor Freight for $4-5 a piece and mount them yourself. Get a spray bottle with some water and dish soap... done. I don't balance either.

Taking them off is only a little harder. Again Harbor freight has a tire bead breaker tool for $50(watch for sales). It could use a few simple mods to make it work better. Money well spent. Last year alone it saved me hundreds in mounting and dismounting my drag slicks/drag radials while setting up my car. I also mounted a set of Hoosier roundy round tires for my open track setup. Seemed silly to buy race takeoffs for $80 and spend $60 in mounting/balancing. Takes very little time once you get the hang of it. Go to youtube to find helpful vids.

HTH.
