On my esv my heat only works on 90, 89 and it will come out cold. Same when ac is on its the same from 60-89, I like the 70-72 mark but its basically the ac. Idk what this is or where to start off with. Basically during winter time either I have it on 90 at all timecause 89 is pretty much ac, and summer i can have it on 60 even though I can put it on 89 and it will still be ac cold. I found some info from here something about a air mix blend actuator. Now I borrowed a friends air controls off his z71, there the same as mine and does the same thing. They work correctly in his truck, I have the dual climate control and it doesnt matter both sides do the same thing for the temp. 90 is heat only, and 60-89 is cold. Each side does work, I can keep my side on cremation lol and the other on ac. Opinions please, during winter it sucks to have my heat on cremation all the time, I'm happy at 72 but its basically ac. I mean I'm Mexican and love the heat lol but shit!!!!

Blower works fine its just the fact that the temp controls show the setting of what you choose and its def not it. Either hot or cold is what you get

Sounds like that to me. I have seen this before when at the GM dealership. I would just expose the harness and fix the rubbed wires and then wrap them up good in conduit or electrical tape.

Really though you might want to go get it scanned to check for codes. You might want to find someone with a tech 2 or a nicer scanner like a modis or an exos. Advance auto scanners won't head HVAC codes.
