Need LS1 Coils

Still need these.

I <think> I have a set off an 01 Silverado. They all function the same, not like the LS1 coils are any better. I have the sub harnesses coils and brackets, so it'll bolt on and connect to the factory harness no problems.

Still have a set of truck coils.

Unfortunately I don't think those bolt on? I need the ones that have the harness connector on the same side of the coil as the plug wire connector. I know the LS2 coils have them on opposite sides. I was told today that the LS2 and the truck coils were different. If the ones you have will bolt on I'll take them.

I was looking at some pics of the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 truck coils and it looks like the problem may be even worse. The bracket looks like it is farther up the valve cover so the interferance would be worse.

Thanks for checking Greg. Can't be too hard to find these. I'm going to bid on those ebay ones. I did pick up a MINT set of ls2 coils, so if anyone needs a set of those I will trade for the 99-02 stuff. The ls2 ones are supposed to be better, but they don't bolt on an ls1 f-body without hitting the fuel line.

I have a set of LS1 coils (no those are not for sale :) ) you can compare the truck coils to if you want. All of them bolt to the same valve cover, sounds like the early f-body/Corvette fuel rails hit?

I now understand the dilemma. I thought you were thinking the LS1 coils were something special from a spark energy or performance standpoint. me gets it now..
