So I have this 2000 Bonneville SSEI that has 2400 miles on it. It's like showroom perfect. I want the paint to stay looking good, what would you guys suggest? I don't really know anything about ceramic wax or anything, not sure if that's something that would be good for this or not. I also want to tint the windows but don't know squat about that either. What do you guys recommend?

Take it to detail express in keego harbor. They do great detailing as well as window tint. I’ve had several cars tinted there in the last 11 years with no issues of bubbling.

I'm a fan of CorrossionX branded Rejex. Originally developed for aircraft for lexan windows. Wipe on, wipe off, like any other modern sealer. It actually cures with moisture. I'm not a fan of the "ceramic" sealers because it takes skill to do it right. A wipe on/wipe off sealer you can strip using polishing compound super quick and re-apply.

If you keep it indoors, it lasts about a year. If you park outside and drive down dirt roads 20,000 miles a year then it lasts about 4 months.

Good to know!

Detailing is all in the prep and polish. If you like old school waxes look at Finishkare 1000P. It’s a great daily driver summer wax as it has a very high melting point. It’s around $20

If you want something closer to boutique wax, DoDo Juice Black Widow is a good choice but probably around $75.

If you want a spray that is tough, available locally, and lasts a good 4-6 months, Griots ceramic 3 in 1 wax. It’s $25 or so.

If you want it done professionally, contact member Marc Harris. I’d trust him with a 1 of 1 exotic. His profile is here:
