Need a electrician recommendation

Check the double pole breaker(s) in your main panel for the house.

One might be slightly centered indicating it being tripped. Reset it by swinging it all the way off then to on (clicking into place) .

If no breakers are tripped, call your service provider & await for them to conduct there testing/work..
 
ACV 200, main power on, black lead to ground bar, red lead to one fuse, then the other, both readings should be ~120v, if one is a lot lower, or 0, then its likely the power company's issue(loose connection at the weatherhead to your house, or at the pole)
 
It appears this was a DTE problem that was unknown to me.

I still don't know what had happened. All I know is that before

I called DTE this morning, I checked & EVERYTHING is now working!
 
Just FYI, I think you need to make sure power is off when checking resistance/continuity across the fuse, or pull them out of the loop and check.
If they're installed you'll be getting a jacked up reading of the whole circuit.


What I'd say to do now if you have power is get out your shop vac and get those friends of yours out of there.
Plastic extension on the vacuum cleaner and don't touch anything inside the box.

Duh, I'm just getting overwhelmed with life at the moment,
mom in the hospital, big problems with other family, I'm honestly
not doing my best thinking these days!

I’m broke,no job AND drive a ford! Don’t drink( can’t drink) don’t do drugs or
smoke left hand(anymore)But there’s gona be better days... one day. I went to Home Depot and bought myself staples and a 4$ glue gun, feel like a kid on kissmyass morning.

We had a similar problem when DTE sent someone out to put a "smart" meter in. The dickbag didn't push it all the way into the connections and half the house didn't have power.
Had to have an electrician friend come check it out and he just basically pushed the meter in and fixed it.
