Half my electrical in my house is not working.
It just stopped working tonight.

I need to get someone out here.

Anyone recommend a electrician?

I’m not a electrician BUT I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.
One of the two Big main fuse’s outside in small panel before meter?

Use a continuity tester across the fuse. If it beeps the fuse is good, if not then it's blown.

Setting looks good where it's at. Turn it on look at the screen then touch the 2 leads together. You should see it change. Then when you go across the fuse it should behave the same as you touching the 2 leads together.

BE CAREFUL.... There is power in the box. BIG power

Even if you pull the disconnect that's just the power going to the house. The power from the lines into the box is still hot.

This is bad, I also don't have water, well pump is one of the lines out.
At least the furnace is working & I could plug the refrigerators in other
working outlets.

Hmm... Don't have any separate fuse box in the house before the main panel do you? I know my house has one, I don't know why but it does.

Did you pull the fuses to check them or where they still installed in the panel?

Ok great, that was going to be my next question.

Maybe half the house is one half the panel?
Maybe trip the main and reset it?

Are you goin to be up? I'm falling asleep and have to be up in about 4 hours

I tried the 750 ACV setting & couldn't get anything from either side.

This so beyond me. I'm going to try to call DTE at 8am.

I'm ready to drop - going to bed myself.

If my house burns to the ground overnight,
someone please take good care of my Silverado!
