Need a cover letter

I haven't wrote one in like 3 years and I can't even remember how to write/format a proper one. I used to have books with examples but sold them back to Ferris when I graduated. All the templetes on MS Word look fruity as hell. Just like something you'd use for middle school computer class. Not to land a job..... Any help would be appreciated. My buddy already landed me the interview with Ford and they haven't even seen my resume yet. :):):) I have that up to date but want to go in with as much in my favor as possible.

If you have any help could you please send it to TAHalley at gmail.com

Three short paragraphs: 1 - Intro to who you are (1-2 sentences), 2 - Specific stuff about why you are a good fit for them (2-3 sentences), 3 - Thank you and contact info (1-2 sentences). Short but sweet.

I never bothered with a cover letter. The first few sentences of your resume should tell them what they want to know.
